Love Remains the Same

My dreams of snuggling up to a rock star finally came true before Gavin Rossdale's performance at the Grove last week. I didn't have a cd for him to sign so I bought the most recent copy of In Touch and we chatted about the validity of the article and his marriage to Gwen. Oh what it must feel like to be rock royalty!

Gavin and his new band performed a two hour set including old school Bush songs like "The Chemicals Between Us," "Glycerine" and "Comedown," as well as his newer material from album Wanderlust. Don't worry, I had instant flashbacks of sixth and seventh grade where grungy rock bands were all the rage. Good things Gavin's career didn't fizzle away like the disastrous fashion era.

But thanks to the craze-o paparazzi blocking my view, I missed out on spotting wifey Gwen Stefani and baby Zuma and Kingston who were also in attendance (and sporting stylish head phones.)

Boom Roasted

In the ultimate BOOM ROASTED of the season, actress Emily Blunt said yes to boyfriend, John Krasinski's proposal over the weekend. For those of you not living under a rock, Emily broke up with musician Michael Buble last year and proceeded dating John shortly after. And who can blame her?

Apparently the couple want to have a short engagement, and in Hollywood terms, I'm wondering if that means there's a baby Jim in the oven? But in Hollywood, not all weddings come prior to babies crying and diapers needing changing. Apparently John is scheduled to be back on set to film this season's "The Office" and there isn't much room to schedule a wedding in between takes. My vote is for Michael to plan the bachelor party.
